NSW Health Minister opens new state of the art MediCentral Sydney

New medical centre in Sydney’s CBD offer patients access to Australia largest and most comprehensive offering of medical and health services

A new $14m ‘super’ medical centre has been formally opened by the NSW Minister for Health, the Hon Brad Hazzard MP. The Minister was joined in a formal ceremony by the Counsel General of China, Mr Gu Xiaojie, the Chairman of the Tasly Group, Mr Yan Kaijing, and the Founder of Tasly Healthpac, Dr Ven Tan, at a special event on Friday 24 February.

MediCentral Sydney, located at 501 George Street in the CBD, is a first for Australia, being the largest and most comprehensive collective of medical services under the one roof outside of the hospital system.

Centrally located and just a short walk from Town Hall Station, MediCentral Sydney signals a new dawn for medicine and health care in Australia. Established in late 2016 through a joint venture between Tasly Pharmaceuticals and Healthpac, MediCentral Sydney aims to redefine medical and ambulatory care.
